It could still be used with legacy MacOS I think, but I wouldn't want anyone to part with money and be in the same boat as me and a small minority of people with this device. It's just really frustrating and such a waste of a lovely keyboard. Finder will open the ‘’ Go to the Folder ’’, Now there type /Library/Preferences/. Universal Control and Handoff features are broken. Press, Command +Shift+ G in the Finder app. I've got my eye on a wired A1048 in excellent condition on eBay as a replacement, as I really enjoy and prefer mechanical style full-size ones, so not all is lost. Exit all System Preferences or apps on your Mac as well that app which has to try to establish the Bluetooth connection between your Mac and another device. I made the mistake of installing Ventura the day it was released (I normally wait a few weeks to let someone else figure out/get terrorized by all the weird one-off bugs). Hello all, I have a 2018 Mac Mini that has luckily never had a bluetooth issue. I guess all I can do is try again with the "bluetil" and other fixes now I've updated to 13.4, but my guess is Apple have deliberately bricked older keyboards. Bluetooth died with update to MacOS Ventura and Bluetooth Controller will not power back on. I keep hoping with each new release or update that Apple will fix this, but I guess it's not high on their list of priorities! And I have emailed them, but never did get a reply of any kind. If I remember this all happened after updating to 12.2 or 12.3. I think the issue is with the handshake protocol as all devices can "see" the keyboard they just won't connect to each other. It will also show up but not connect to any of the 3 Apple MacBooks in the house either. I don't have an Apple store near me, but this problem started with my old 2017 iMac and perservered into my new M1 Mac Mini.
